First they saw a circle about 5 or 6 feet wide with lots of splashing. It moved as one and they followed it. Then 100 meters off a huge black monster surfaced. It came up about 3 feet above the water. They saw a kind of whale skin as the hump rolled above the surface. It surfaced once more. Then they noticed 15 or 20 loons surfacing all over.
They have gone over this in their minds and have found no satisfactory explanation.
But they did name it the Loonie Beast of McInnes. So anyone else have ideas here ???
