Looking out onto Rossport Bay, Lake Superior

My brother Peter and his wife Johanne live at Selam Siding, on the north shore of Lake Superior. Note from Pete: "We snowshoed up to the lookout above our house. View is great. Look at all the ice in front of the house. Brenen Commisso had a ice shack out front of his house today. Don't know if he caught any fish though. You can see 360 degrees fronm the lookout."

It is beautiful northern living, but Hugh never fails to mention ----- no walleye!!!

  1. The Rossport area is one of my favorite parts of Lake Superior...the islands are amazing, and the communities are friendly.

  2. Your photos show many beautiful views. One of my favorite views on earth is looking south, just after sunrise, from your deck of the Orono Lake cabin. And I should mention, plenty of Walleye and Big Pike also. Thank You. Jim Scholz
