All our outposts are far from fires
The air is still Very smokey. The visibility is so low we are not flying for now. However all our outposts are safe from the present fires and all is well with us.
I greatly appreciate your blog, Enid. However I do wish there was more information coming to us in the US about what youare suffering. I have spent much time in Red Lake and want to stay informed. Looks like a line of Fires in Eastern Man. Viking looks lke it is vulnarable. A friend lost a cabin south of Viking Sunday. What are road conditions south of Red Lake like?
Oh yes, we will be flying. None of our camps are in danger. The weather is expected to cool down starting tomorrow. Of course, there is always unknowns. If more fires start or the roads are blocked, things may change....but that is very unlikely.
