| You can be sure that there is some strange and creative discussion going on in that boat. Soon to be interrupted by walleye. |

Fishing is all important, of course. New techniques, lures and spots against the tried and true. Lots of fishing action keep the discussions under control.

It's nice to see a photo of John holding up one of Rocky or Tom's walleye! Actually, by the fourth day, he caught one of his own. His claim is that in Australia, the fish swim "counter-clockwise." He also was surpised that in an English speaking country, they don't drive on the "proper" side of the highway, nor serve "Vegemite" at breakfast!
ReplyDeleteThis coming August, he hopes to catch his second walleye!

This doesn't sound good for Douglas Lake fishing.... maybe he's got the wrong side of the boat?
ReplyDeleteIt was his phoney accent, trying to talk like a "bloody pom!" Must have scared the fish? He also leaned to the right when flying, believing that Hugh's weight, and political thinking, might captize the plane! He thinks that he won't be served ANY vegetables this year, in spite of the notes that his wife, Helen, has already sent along. Just don't get him started on the Canadian automobile industry.

"Wrong side of the boat" was the problem! It took us three days to convince the "wanker" that he needed to fish OUTSIDE of the boat.
ReplyDeleteHe's over in New Zealand fishing for snappers this week. He also likes Cabela's for their International shipping.
